Progress and Stitches Plan

Well, as I hinted at the end of my last post, I cast on for a hat this week. As always, the pattern has been a dream to knit. I can't wait to finish it up (and for the weather to be cool enough to wear it). I'm using some Khroma DK from The Fibre Company in purple. I love it.

My brother's sweater is huge, but on a break, since I'm having some issues with the shoulder shaping. I'm hoping to figure that out soon. It's almost done!

In other news, I'm going to Stitches Midwest this weekend. Woo hoo! I'm taking Great Beginnings with Susanna Hansson and Concentration on Color & Design in Knitting with Brandon Mably. I cannot wait! I made a little list of projects that I'd like to find yarn for, but what I really want to find is a cute WPI gauge, Knitter's Block, and some bamboo to spin. I'm sure I'll walk away with more than that, but those are the things for which I'll be on the hunt.
