3.18.2007almost done and future knits![]() i'm almost done with the pure & simple baby pullover from weekend knitting. i just want to give it a quick wash and toss on some buttons (possibly yellow). i'm also planning on making a cute striped hat with the leftover yarn and some yellow caron simply soft to match. and, in future knits: i bought some yarn at loopy yarns, since all of their mohair, wool, and alpaca yarns were 25% off until today. ![]() first up is some mohair blend stuff to make the airy wrap-around lace sweater from fitted knits. i love this sweater and i think i'll get a lot of wear out of it in this color. i'm hoping to cast on for it soon. ![]() it's fair to say i'm liking fitted knits, since i picked up some more yarn for another pattern in it. how cute is this vest? ![]() some white cascade 220 for another ella for my aunt's birthday, per her request. i'll probably cast on for this once i'm done with all of this baby knitting. ![]() i also snagged 2 skeins* of yarn to fix up the thumb on My Favorite Pair of Mittens Ever. i'm going to see if knit fix has good directions for this sort of patching and possibly pick it up before i actually fix it. *why do i need 2 skeins to fix a thumb? well, i don't, but 1) what am i going to do with 1 skein of black sock yarn and 2) it was 25% off.

The sweater looks great, and you have lots lined up to do. Love that Hello Kitty stitch marker from the last post.
yeah, i have waaaay too much waiting in the wings. the dangerous thing is that i keep getting sucked in to new patterns i want to do.
