first sock!
::first sock
i just started my first sock (hopefully, the first of a pair) today. i'm using a pattern from weekend knitting and knitpicks' wool of the andes yarn in tulip. the pattern uses pretty big needles (6s and 7s), so i thought it would be a good way to get the basics of sock knitting down without dealing with tiny needles. i've probably got about 3" done already, which is definitely cool.
::current projects
aside from the aforementioned socks, the only other item i have on the needles is my skully sweater, which is coming along nicely. i just need to seam up one shoulder and a bti on the collar and i'll be done with the body of it. i still need to do the sleeves, but that's all. i'm sort of thinking of just putting NERD down one (or both) of the sleeves in lieu of the skulls. we shall see...

also, i still need to post pictures of my xmas FOs. i'm tentatively planning on doing that on monday.
