update
hobo bag
well, i finished the huge-ass hobo bag tonight. i ran out of yarn and the craft store didn't have any more, so i had to get a different color. fabulous, no? i'm going to make a flower (or two...or a dozen) with the color to try and pull it together. i'm not sure if that will work.
it is huge, though. i mean...i can't even explain it. i seriously have to post a picture of it. i need to work on the concept of "gauge" a bit more, i think. hehe...
i'm not sure what i'm going to use it for. it's too big to really be practical to carry around with me. plus, it stretches out too easily. i really need to take the time to learn how to sew. a liner would help immensely. i though of using it to store yarn that isn't in use, but it isn't quite big enough for that.
however, it did really keep me from losing my mind and from getting very stressed out during our nightmare airport experience when we were trying to get to san francisco last month. yay for knitting!
